thoughts
They say sharing is caring.
Thus, I herewith share with you some of my thoughts,
reflections, experiences and others in this
crazy journey we call life.
It acts partly as a blog for myself and partly as a way to share knowledge with others.
Some of you might relate, and some of you might not.
Either way, it could act as a little dose of inspiration or a source of entertainment only.
Our mind works in funny ways...
It is wired to enjoy the comfort of the known, of the least possible amount of change. It will tell you that things are ok just the way they are, and there is no need for taking risks or stepping into that big unknown outside of the comfort zone. But if we would always follow that principle, we would stop evolving.
Unblinding
We are blinded by the sweet stories told to us. The stories that set our expectations high and make us believe that "happily ever after" will still one day knock on our doors. (…) I (finally) started to unblind and redefine those sweet stories, making them my own.
Nostalgia
In our lives, we are repeatedly faced with stepping stones that translate into milestones and turning points. For some, this occurs sporadically, for others continuously. Sometimes collectively, sometimes individually, and occasionally the two coincide. Up to the point that the only thing that remains of the past is solely a vague memory of what once was.
They've put me in a box...
…or did I go in myself?
Labels, names, clusters, bubbles…All ways to categorize individuals to facilitate understanding. To profile people, we have known for years or have just briefly met, and organize them in boxes.
Corona got us diving
Who else is diving into thoughts?
Questions, doubts, unpredictability, fear…A desperate need for change - the earth is calling. A shout asking us to take responsibility in our own hands and act consciously.
Releasing the Stuckness
Midnight thoughts on those moments in life when you get stuck. Be it literally or figuratively. Physically or mentally. Those moments where the first thought that pops up your mind is "Fuck (pardon my wording), how will I ever get out of this?"
Valentine's Day
In this Valentine’s Day, why not start loving ourselves first, understand our flaws, be vulnerable, to then open the wires and start communicating, understanding and loving others?
